Regional Training Centers
The Regional Training Centers are responsible for providing multidimensional training services to the community.
The main tasks of the RTC are as follows: ①To promote public education and awareness of human genetic resources; ②To promote and train on human genetic resources-related policies and regulations, accreditation and ethical information to standardize the collection and preservation of human genetic resources of institutions, and to promote the utilization of human genetic resources by research institutions, and to standardize international cooperation based on human genetic resources; ③To train and to promote the cutting-edge multi-omics technologies to enhance research capacity in Central China and the whole country; ④To promote conversion policies and industrial development to increase links between China's life and health industries and research institutions.
I、Policies Promulgation
Explain various regulations and laws of the management of genetic resources, including ethics of life and medicine.
The main form is to invite relevant experts to interpret policies, laws and regulations.
II、Skill Training
Hold all kinds of academic discussion salons, industrial technology conferences, etc.
The main form is to invite the technical platforms to hold professional technical training, such as single-cell sequencing, NGS, cell technology, mass spectrometry and other omics.
III. Conferences and Exhibitions
Organize life science lectures, public health and other medical conferences.
The main form is to initiate, undertake or participate in a series of summits, such as the human genetic resources Industry Technology Innovation and Development Summit Forum.
IV. Scientific Popularization
Analyze cutting-edge biotechnology online and offline to explore medical research skills.
The main form is to hold academic salon activities to share information in various fields including biobank ethics, laws and regulations, laboratory construction, informatization construction and so on.
