A prospective cohort study of common chronic noncommunicable diseases among public officials in Hunan Province with column names (in Chinese and English) and international clinical trial registration

Project introduction This cohort is the first to establish a prospective research cohort of chronic diseases of public officials in China. Through questionnaire survey, physical examination, laboratory examination and biological specimen collection, a large data bank and biological specimen bank of the occurrence, development and prognosis of chronic diseases of public officials and related influencing factors are established, Analyze the occurrence and development of major chronic diseases (coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, stroke, chronic obstructive emphysema, tumor, hyperlipidemia, obesity, etc.) of public officials, comprehensively study the pathogenic factors and pathogenesis of various common chronic diseases from the aspects of body, environment, lifestyle, occupational characteristics, etc., and establish an early warning model for major chronic diseases of this population, Analyze the relationship between the utilization of health services and the development and outcome of chronic diseases in this population, fill in the gap of epidemiological data of major chronic diseases in domestic public officials, and provide a reliable basis for the provision of health services and the formulation of relevant policies for this population.
The main purpose is to establish a data platform for risk assessment, prediction and early warning of chronic diseases of public officials and form a precise prevention, treatment plan and decision-making system for risk assessment, prediction and early warning, early screening, classification and classification of major common chronic diseases of public officials.
Study Design An open prospective cohort study of adult population.
According to the definition of public officials in this topic (that is, the staff of institutions and institutions that perform their duties in accordance with the law, are included in the national administrative system, and are fully or partially funded by the national finance), the sample enrollment group takes the functional community as the unit to cluster the staff of government agencies, teachers of public schools, and medical and nursing personnel of public hospitals as the research objects and conduct sample recruitment. The inclusion criteria were set as follows: age 20-60 years; Is the on-the-job employee of the investigation unit; No serious physical disability; Able to communicate normally; Volunteer to participate in the project and sign the informed consent form.
The population characteristics come from the in-service physical examination population in Hunan.   
Number of people completed/target number 8410/10000.
The starting and ending years and the follow-up interval are March 2017; Follow up once a year.
Questionnaire content 1) general demographic information; 2) Socioeconomic characteristics; 3) Disease history; 4) Lifestyle characteristics; 5) Environmental exposure; 6) Anxiety and depression; 7) Women's health status.
Physical examination items include 1) height and weight; 2) Waist and hip circumference; 3) Heart rate, blood pressure, electrocardiogram; 4) Chest X-ray examination; 5) Lung function; 6) Abdominal B-ultrasound examination of liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas and kidney; 7) Women were further examined for the uterus, ovaries and fallopian tubes.
Laboratory test items include blood routine test, urine routine test, complete set of blood lipids, fasting blood glucose, etc.
Biological samples were collected from 15 ml of peripheral venous blood and 30 ml of urine.
Follow-up survey and monitoring were conducted on the public officials' cohort samples. Follow-up monitoring was conducted on the occurrence, development, outcome and prognosis (including death) of the main chronic diseases of the public officials, and the utilization of health services related to their chronic diseases was investigated.
The main results have completed the baseline data collection and 4-year follow-up of 8410 people. He has published more than ten papers.
